The University of Gloucestershire’s LGBT+ Society will be holding an event on Saturday 23rd February 2019 to celebrate LGBT History Month and 50 Years since the Stonewall Riots.
This will be taking place at Regent Arcade in Cheltenham, with workshops within the new John Lewis across the street.
The event will consist of stalls of organisations that are either LGBT+ focused or support the LGBT+ community in some way; we will also be running workshops throughout the day based on history and the future.
The aim of the campaign is to educate and celebrate the 50 years since the Stonewall riots. It will also look forward to where we can go from here and how to improve education on LGBT+ issues and equality.
If you wish to contribute in any way, do send an e-mail uoglgbt@glos.ac.uk.
Also keep up to date with all that's coming up on the day on the Facebook event or Eventbrite!
